ABOUT OBANLIVE

OBAN LIVE will be a 2 day open air concert that will take place at Mossfield Stadium in the heart of Oban’s town on the 13th & 14th of May. The event follows on from the successful ‘Decade’ concert that was held in May 2015 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Skerryvore. As with Decade, OBAN LIVE will again showcase international acts and attract visitors from all over the world.

Daniel Gillespie, Skerryvore band member confirmed the band were blown away by the support of the event, “Decade was a concert we will never forget and we were all completely overwhelmed by the turnout and support. What we didn’t expect is for 99% of attendees to want to do it all again! Following much discussion and thought, we are delighted to launch OBAN LIVE – an event to celebrate the town, community and incredible atmosphere of Oban.”

Oban occupies a beautiful setting in the Firth of Lorn. The bay is a near perfect horseshoe, protected by the island of Kerrera, and beyond Kerrera the Isle of Mull.
